Fishing forecast (September through November): Tiger trout get aggressive in the fall as they prepare for winter and can be effectively caught with various flies (streamers, mouse patterns), lures (spinners, Rapalas) and jigs (marabou, tubes). Mouse pattern flies can be very effective in the evening. This reservoir provides a great opportunity for anglers to pursue native Colorado River cutthroat trout from watercraft or shoreline, making it a good spot to fish for the Utah Cutthroat Slam.
