Anglers reported catching bass, catfish, and crappie at BV with largemouth as the best bet. Bass anglers worked in front of the cattails, near the reeds, and around the islands for good results. A lot of different baits have been working with Senkos, swim jigs, and underspins getting grabs. The crappie bite has been very good for anglers using live minnows and minijigs near the launch ramp. Catfish ate SSS dip bait and chicken liver on the Carolina rig.
