The spring bite has sprung in the aqueduct with striped bass, largemouth, and catfish all biting. Striped bass anglers used cut sardines, nightcrawlers, and live minnows in the areas after check gates to land good numbers of fish. Most of the fish were 12 to 20 inches, but some bigger models were also reported. Jerkbaits, topwater, and Flukes worked for bites during the mornings and evenings. Largemouth bass fell for wacky rigged Senkos, curly tailed grubs, and Roboworms on the drop shot with green pumpkin, watermelon, and ox blood all taking fish. Jerkbaits and topwater also scored bites. Catfish ate SSS dip bait, cut baits, and chicken liver.
