All lakes have been freshly stocked and are fishing very similarly. Water is clear, cool, and full. Bank anglers should fish early or late using inflated nightcrawlers or PowerBait on 3–4 ft leaders. Trollers working small spoons like Needlefish and Thomas Buoyants at 1–1.5 mph about 15–20 feet down are finding consistent action. Midsummer conditions make mornings and evenings most productive. These smaller alpine lakes are great options for a quick trip with reliable action.
