The lake is ice free. Lake of the Woods was stocked with trophy rainbow trout on Monday. Fishing should be very good from a boat. Catching these fish from shore is more challenging.

The lake is dominated by stunted yellow perch. Very small bait and hooks will catch these fish. Water temperatures are quite cold for most species except Brown Trout and Kokanee fishing might be an option. This is best from a boat.

Howard Prairie Reservoir: Howard Prairie is 86 percent full and rising
Hyatt Lake: Hyatt is currently 88 percent full and rising
Lost Creek Reservoir: Lost Creek offers very good opportunity for spring trout fishing
Medco Pond: Medco wasstocked with rainbow trout this week
Rogue River - Middle: Flow in Grants Pass is around 3,200 cfs on Tuesday
Rogue River- Upper: Anglers continue to catch winter steelhead
Krumbo Reservoir: Some very fat holdover trout in the 14-20 inch range are still being caught after stocking
