Anglers have been catching lots of Striped Bass and Smallmouth Bass in the 2- to 4-pound range. The water is still very warm, so try going out very early in the day or after sundown for the most success. If fishing midday, try looking for shaded spots or go to deep water. Anglers have had a lot of success fishing grass beds in the early mornings with lures that resemble baitfish, especially Threadfin Shad, while midday anglers on a boat can troll.

Special Regulations: The limit has been changed to unlimited striped bass of any size, 5 trout and 15 crappie. For species not listed, or bodies of water without special regulations, refer to the statewide fishing regulations.
