Fishing was fair at BV, with most of the trout already hauled in. Bass anglers worked deep-diving crankbaits, weedless jigs, and blade baits with some success. A slower presentation and darker colors produced the best results, though a three-pound bass was landed on a white spinnerbait. Crappie took small live minnows. Catfish preferred SSS dip bait.
