Pyramid Lake fell to 85 percent of its storage capacity. Boaters should stay in the main channel after launching or they will run aground. Anglers reported catching largemouth and smallmouth bass as deep as 40 feet. Drop-shots, Ned rigs, and spoons were the most effective, with a few crankbait fish also reported. Striped bass anglers continued to find some topwater action, but the best bite came from trolling A-rigs in 25 to 50 feet over main-lake points. Catfish anglers used cut sardines, dip bait, and chicken liver to land whisker-fish.
