Fishing is generally best when flows are below 3,000 cfs. Flows are currently at around 1,300 cfs at the gage in Waterloo. Fishing for spring Chinook is now closed. Fishing for summer steelhead is open year-round and is still quite good through September and into October. At this time of year the majority of these are in the upper sections above Waterloo, from below the deadline at Wiley Creek to Pleasant Valley boat ramp.

Alton Baker Canoe Canal: Will be stocked each week through the week of November 10
