Fish was slower recently with few rainbows being caught. It should pick up with fall-like weather here. Check with the lodge and the forest service for available camping.

Diamond Lake has been stocked with tiger and brown trout. These fish were introduced to help control illegally introduced tui chub. These trout are catch-and-release only and need to be released immediately and unharmed if caught. Follow these catch-and-release tips for reducing fish mortality.

Applegate Reservoir: The lake level is 1931 ft and the surface temperature at Applegate is 74F
