The Virginias have been really hot!

The Virginias have been really hot lately! The fly anglers seem to be doing the best from tubes with reports coming in from anglers catching/releasing 30 to 50+ fish per day. Lots of action with small buggers, mini leeches, soft hackles and zug bugs. Sinking lines are the best and have been producing some very good numbers of fish. Bait anglers are having some success from the shore with pinched crawlers, mice tails, crawlers and power bait and it seems that if there are some clouds rolling in in the afternoons the action really heats up. It’s a little tough when the sun is shining bright but it really picks up when the clouds build up.
