The pond fished very well for a couple anglers this week and just average for a couple others this week. The anglers who did very well reported getting into between 20 and 30 fish with the larger ones taping out around 24 inches. Rickards stillwater nymph, soft hackle and small bunny leeches seemed to be the best bets out there. The weeds are certainly growing and the ranch is trying to keep ahead of them with their weekly mowing program and it seems you just need to search out the more clear areas and focus on them. Usually you can see fish rising in the less weedy areas so these are the areas to target.
