Pyramid Lake’s season is winding down, but fishing remains hot in deeper water. Trolling with a boat in 60–90 feet with orange flatfish or spoons around Warrior Point, Monument, and Hell’s Kitchen is producing quality Lahontan cutthroat. Focus on early morning deep trolling for the best results. Anglers using float tubes should be mindful with the wind in the afternoons. The lake closes on June 30, so now is the time to get in a final trip at Pyramid Lake before it wraps up for the season.
