Haystack Reservoir is fishing well. Our casting instructor guru Doug Pendleton left me this report to share: Nice Haystack Hawg: 24″ – Parabolic Sweep line on a #12 Tequila Blob in 13 ft. Water temp was in the mid 50’s

Metolius River: The Metolius River is seeing some really good days lately
Deschutes River- Lower: The Lower Deschutes has fished great for us this 1st week of the 2025 season
Deschutes River: The Middle Deschutes is running low and that makes access and wading easier
Fall River: The Fall River is awesome right now
McKenzie River: We’ve been having great days on the McKenzie River
Crooked River: The Mighty Crooked River continues to be a bummer. 900+ CFS today

Metolius River: The Metolius River has really been good
Crooked River: The Crooked River is blown out again
Deschutes River: The Middle Deschutes is in nice condition as irrigation canals have now opened
Fall River: The Fall River is excellent
Deschutes River- Lower: The Lower Deschutes is fishable
McKenzie River: The Mckenzie is fishable as I saw a friend post he drifted it 2 days ago and had good action
Chickahominy Reservoir: Chickahominy is fishing well
Ochoco Reservoir: Ochocco Reservoir is a good bet
Lake Billy Chinook: Lake Billy Chinook is a good bull trout destination now
Hat Creek - Middle: We'll have some giant Caddis and Stonefly hatches soon
