"We made a move day before yesterday in the afternoon in hopes of finding better Tuna fishing," wrote Intrepid skipper Kevin Osborne March 12. "Unfortunately we only found a few dozen more Wahoo for the RSW and a couple dozen smaller grade Tuna up to 50 pounds. So, around 1:00 p.m., with the writing on the wall, we made the move back to the island and made it in here around 4:00 a.m. and were able to put on a quick 100 big baits before sunrise. We then headed offshore to where we had found our fish a few days prior and there they were, in the dark. For the morning (6:30 a.m.) we have three Tuna on deck, 170-pound class, 120, and another around 70 pounds, with fish under the boat, but not biting as well as they are showing. We will report again at the end of the day."
