"We had a fantastic day of bluefin tuna fishing today" said the Shogun report for July 23. "We had a couple of absolute screamer bites on quality 25 to 35-pound bluefin tuna. Later the bite dropped off and we spent the afternoon stopping on various kelps scratching up a variety pack of yellowtail, dorado, and yellowfin tuna. Tonight we are moving north and will spend another day offshore tomorrow looking for more tuna and yellowtail."
