Report: The Fall River Valley is very hot right now, if you go fishing go early! Weeds continue to die and clog the bridges, mid day through the afternoon the wind can come up so you will need to find a run where you can hide. Smaller nymphs on a dry-dropper rig or swung are doing the most work. This is Trico season, so hit the river early before the sun is on the mountaintops for the spinner fall, the Drowned Trico is a good one fished behind an Adams. Later, good dropper flies are always Sweet Peas, Two-Bit Hookers, Red Micro Mays, and Russ' Sin City. Strip Pine Squirrel Leeches and Water Boatmen in the mid-day and afternoons.
