DWR spring trout stocking efforts typically begin in March at Wasatch Mountain Pond and continue into the summer months. Trout catch rates are good during April and May. We recommend using a piece of nightcrawler fished below a bobber, or garlic-chartreuse trout dough bait fished off the bottom or behind a casting bubble. Lures (such as inline spinners, casting spoons and marabou jigs) and streamers (such as Pistol Pete flies, woolly buggers and leech patterns) can also still be effective.
