At Donner Lake, lake capacity is at 100% and has great spring fishing conditions. The lake will be stocked with trout shortly before Memorial Day weekend, offering more bites for anglers. Water temperature is around 50s°F. Anglers trolling for mackinaw can find them deep, around 100 feet using hook up baits. Anglers fishing for Kokanee should try using downriggers with a flasher and corn. Shore anglers are seeing best results in the mornings and evenings near the boat ramp using powerbait or worms.
