The lake level is 1,900 ft and the surface temperature at Applegate is 42F. Check up-to-date reservoir levels here, or call the Army Corps of Engineers at (800) 472-2434 for lake level and temperature information. The low-water ramp at French Gulch is the only available ramp at these levels, but ice may be an issue early in the morning.
There is a longstanding health advisory for consumption of resident species due to elevated levels of mercury. See Oregon Health Authority consumption guidelines or the sportfishing regulations for more information.

Umpqua River- South : Reports of steelhead are being caught throughout the river
