Still stellar fishing going on up on the lake! The spotted bass are chasing shad and searching for whatever they can put their mouth around. The most productive technique is Float n' Fly with the shad Float n' Fly pattern or a dark Balanced Leech. Look for the bass and trout to chase shad balls and throw a streamer like the Baby Fat Minnow in Sexy Shad on an I-Line. This fall and through the winter will be a great time to get out on the lake if you would like to catch as many fish as you can handle or want to sight cast streamers to cruising fish, give us a call we have the best fly guides on Shasta Lake!
Hot Flies:
• Wooly Buggers
• Float-n-Flies
• Dead Drop Minnow
• Zack's Stillwater Balanced Leech
