Galesville is slowly being drawn down during the normal fall reservoir management, but the boat ramps are still accessible. The reservoir is about 40 feet lower than summer full pool. Trout fishing should pick up for hold-over trout from this spring's stockings. Bass fishing has slowed down as winter weather arrives. A lower reservoir can mean the fish are concentrated and easier to target.
