Lake Siskiyou doesn't get much better

I fished my client at Lake Siskiyou yesterday. The whole experience could not have been much better. Comfortable fall temperatures 40 to 70 degrees, amazing scenery, glassy conditions, and best of all a non stop trout bite . In the words of my cleint Scott, "It was an Epic day".
Literally, from the moment, I got the gear in the water we had fish on. Ten minutes may have been the longest time we waited between hook ups. Trolling plugs and spoons on the surface down to 15 feet at 2 to 2.5 mph was the ticket.
Almost all the fish were Rainbow Trout in the 2 to 6 pound class. We did catch one small brown trout amongst the 30 plus. These fish often jumped ripped drag and put a good battle. It was simply an awesome day.
Fall is a great time to fish as we head into the winter months. Give me a call 530 905 0758 or book online at Caldwellfishing.com and lets take advantage.
