It’s hopper time on the Gunny.

This is the time of year to be throwing big, foamy dries.  Later in the morning, it may not hurt to put a small mayfly dropper on as well.  Watch for PMD hatches in the mornings and Tricos in the afternoons.

Dries: Stimulators #12-16,  Chubbies 12-16, RIO’s Big Boned Caddis #12-16, Morrish Hopper 8-12, Sweetgrass Hopper 12-14, Lil Hopper Juan 12-14. PMD Hairwing Dun 16-18, PMD Extended Body 16-18, Trico Spinner #22.

 

Nymphs Brown or Olive Micro May #16-20, Killer Mayfly #18-22, RS2 #18-20, Drowned Trico #22, Juan’s Slim Shady #18-20, Pat’s Rubberlegs 8-12, 20 Incher Stone 10-14, Pheasant Tail and variations 16-20, Prince Nymphs 14-18, Duracell Jig 14-16.
