It sounds like the only real good area on the Reservoir is still up in the East Walker channel fishing with bait. There's only been a limited number of anglers fishing out there as most are waiting for the water to cool, the algae/weed to start going away and for the fish to spread out so they can troll and get over to Rainbow Point for some action. This shouldn't be too long now as we've been getting some air temps in the 30's at night now.

Twin Lakes (Bridgeport): The lake level has dropped 12 to 18 inches over the last week
Indian Creek Reservoir: Fishing has been fair to slow
West Carson River (CA): The water has come up a lot over the last couple weeks
East Carson River (CA): The river is running good
Topaz Lake: The lake has risen a little due to rain runoff from the Walker river
