Fishing forecast (September through November): The fishery at Piute Reservoir has struggled due to drought conditions and water fluctuation in recent years. Several introductions of white crappie, black crappie, bluegill and smallmouth bass have resulted in good numbers. Fishing should get better as temperatures decrease.
