Still some good action

Hunewill Pond - (Mono County)

The clients we had on the pond this week did very well in spite of the weed conditions reporting between 10 and 20 fish per angler for a half day session. The weeds are getting pretty bad on much of the pond but there are a few cleaner areas that seem to be producing lots of good fish. The damsels are hatching and damsel nymphs as well as adult damsel patterns did well this week. There’s also some good action with the usual small leeches and soft hackles out there.
