The lake fell to 47% of its storage capacity, and anglers reported decent fishing for all species. Bass struck poppers, walking baits, and Whopper Ploppers until 9 a.m., while drop shot rigs, darter heads, and Ned rigs produced fish in 10 to 25 feet of water throughout the day. Crankbaits and small swimbaits on ball head jigs caught fish closer to shore. White bass remained active on topwater, crappie responded to minijigs and small live minnows, and catfish anglers had good results using Carolina rigs with cut mackerel.
