Hot on the Truckee River. 

Fishing is good in this heat if you get out in the mornings and fish the very fast water. 

Fast oxygen saturated water. Look for slots, seams, and divits in that fast water. Most anglers have no idea what to look for right now. That's ok, I know a guy.

The euro rig is king this time of year. There's almost no reason to fish anyway else. 

So be prepared to get your ass kicked unless you have some good Summer fast water experience. Just telling it like it is.
