The road is now open. I would recommend driving slow. The road is a little windy and bumpy.

Caples Lake: The lake has been fishing well, not great
Blue Lake Lower: The road is open as of now to the lower lake

Lake Tahoe: The summer is upon us and the fishing has been good
Silver Lake: The launch is open and the fishing is picking up
Caples Lake: The resort is open with boat rentals and boat launching
Blue Lake Lower: As of this week, the road was open to the 3rd gate
West Carson River (CA): The area in Hope Valley has produced some good rainbows in the 1 to 3 lb class
East Carson River (CA): Fishing has been a little slow but a few have been caught in the 4 to 6lb class
Markleeville Creek: Fishing was hot over the weekend
