All time good on the Truckee River. 

Flows are healthy, water temps are perfect, and trouts are happy. 

It's that window of time on the river when you don't have to wok for them as hard as usual. 

Every bug is hatching, and nymphing with any generic nymph should probably work. This week we should see Green Drakes. Green Drakes is one of the biggest mayflies in the West, and the Truckee Rivers only true big dry fly hatch. A big fish producer if you time it right. Go out in the evenings near dark, or if we can get some thunderstorms during the day, it's on...

Caddis should be pop'n off in the evening shortly too. That is a dependable dry fly almost all Summer. 

Of course nymphing is numeral uno, and it's fun to talk about bugs, but it's more fun to catch fish. Get you flies down and dirty.
