Fremont River - Hanksville, Utah

The Fremont River above Millmeadow, flows are up and the hatches have started, a trip up there this evening revealed good numbers of caddis cruising around I’m sure the stone flies and drakes are not far behind. I caught fish in every spot that looked fishy to me.

Fremont below the highway has low clear flows finally, however the warm weather has brought early thunder storms that could temporarily muddy the river, the hatches have started down there also and its worth wetting a line.
