The flows on the East have been bumped up to about 170 cfs right now. The flows on the river have been fluctuating quite a bit lately so some days when the flows go up the water has been pretty off color and it’s been difficult to fish. Overall the fishing has been pretty good with most anglers on the better water clarity days reporting having good numbers of fish. Nymphing is still the best method though there are some anglers getting into some fish with streamers, mostly earlier in the day. For streamers it’s been dead drift crayfish, sculpzilla and ziwi while some of the successful nymph patterns include: perdigon, darth baetis, zebra midge, flashback pheasant tail, flashback emerger, copper John, and various worm patterns in pink and red.
