Surface water temps are climbing into the high 50s. The reservoir is full and water is relatively clear. Expect soft and muddy shorelines with weekend precipitation. Trout up to 18″ are being caught. Try small and bright spinners, worms or your favorite PowerBait. Anglers are reporting a few bass and catfish catches and catch rates will be picking up more with the warmer weather. Spring stocking will begin in the next few weeks. Shoreline fishing is best in the spring before vegetation takes over.
