The main lake temperature was in the upper 50's this past weekend with smaller shallow coves reaching into the lower 60 degree range. Largemouth bass will be in various stages of spawning right now with some fish finishing up spawning while others are still transitioning to the shallows to spawn. Look for fish along the shoreline next to cover like submerged logs.
Trout fishing in rivers and streams is not open until May 22. Trout fishing in the lakes is open year-round.

Howard Prairie Reservoir: Howard Prairie is 92 percent full and all boat ramps are now open
Hyatt Lake: Hyatt is 94 percent full, with some water going over the spillway as of May 6th
Rogue River - Middle: Flow in Grants Pass is around 3,740 cfs on Wednesday
Rogue River- Upper: The release from Lost Creek is 2,660 cfs as the Corps deals with snowmelt entering Lost Creek Reservoir
