The back side of the lake was all open water. The ice is dangerous and please stay off. The lake usually only takes a week or so to fully thaw out. That is when the shore fishing should be good.

East Carson River (CA): The river is running good and clear
West Carson River (CA): The river is running low but very fishable
Topaz Lake: The lake has been fishing well midmorning to afternoons
Bridgeport Reservoir: The lake level is up and the fishing will commence on April 26th
