The Warm Springs to Trout Creek section is now open. Flows are holding around 5500 CFS, typical for this time of year. Water is slightly off-color but very fishable, and fish are holding tight to the banks. With stonefly nymphs beginning to migrate, this is a good time to fish girdle bugs and larger attractor nymphs. PMDs and March Browns are beginning to make appearances, and caddis activity is picking up. Productive patterns include Perdigons, CDC soft hackle pheasant tails, and caddis pupa imitations.
