Despite the windy, choppy weather we were still able to get in the day. It started blowing 25-30 last night about 10 but by 4 in the morning it was down to 22-25 kts which is by no means comfortable but it was fishable.There was pretty good sign of fish around but it was only cooperative first thing in the morning and right before dark. Feeling fortunate we felt lucky to be catching anything as we had some 30-50 lbers in the mix and only a couple handfulls of decent ones. The big fish prize was a boss accurate reel that Jay Love won by narrowly beating out John Yarborough by only a couple of pounds. We are eagerly waiting nice weather as we have been persevering through adverse conditions.
